President Hank’s Report

Dear members and friends,

We are looking at a very busy time. Tomorrow, we meet our AG Joan Graham and we’ll get to know our AG Elect Jenifer Newton. Current and incoming board members, please turn up at 6.00pm so we have some time with Joan and Jennifer before the dinner meeting.

​

There will be no meeting next Tuesday, as it is the third Tuesday of the month and a day after Easter.

The last week of this month is going to be a full one. We are invited by the Rotary Club of Murrumburrah-Harden to join them for a visit to the Olive Grove of Michael and Claire Haig on Tuesday April 26. Details are on the invitation which I circulated last week. RSVPs by 9am next Tuesday morning (April 19). This meeting will replace our normal dinner meeting.

After two years of not being able to have our annual Polio+ fundraising movie, Foundation Director David has secured the premier of “The Duke” on Thursday April 28. See more info in this Bulletin.

Jan and Sue are organising catering for Young High School staff for their staff development day on April 26 and may call on some of you for assistance.

And of course, our monthly Bunnings BBQ is on again on Saturday April 30. Jan will have the roster tomorrow evening.

We can take a breather on Sunday for a well-earned rest and I hope you’ll all enjoy these spectacular events.
